As popular as they are in some quarters, these three names will live in infamy long after the pandemic is a distant memory.

They aren’t letting the pandemic go without extracting every last political advantage they can, at your expense.

Andrews has launched a power grab of unprecedented proportions, introducing laws that would give him limitless, unfettered power regardless if there’s a pandemic or not.

Tens of thousands of Victorians have taken to the streets in protest.

After Labor locked Melbourne down longer than any other city in the world, this power grab was just one more match to the kindling.

No wonder Victorians are angry.

In Queensland, Palaszczuk is slapping herself on the back for loosening restrictions on the fully vaccinated on December 17.

She describes it as a “reward” for the double jabbed. That’s like saying the burglar who returns your stolen TV is doing you a favour.

McGowan has gone the other way. Instead of promising to “reward” citizens with freedoms they were born with, he is threatening a crackdown if they don’t meet his arbitrary vaccination targets.

If WA doesn’t hit a vaccination rate of 90 per cent, he’s threatened West Australians with even tougher vaccine and mask mandates.

Yet he is relaxing restrictions for cricketers and their WAGs, crying “I can’t win” when he is criticised.

Well, this isn’t about you winning, mate.

It’s about Australians on the wrong side of your “hard border” seeing their dying parents one last time or getting home before their wives give birth alone.

The 1023 brave young West Australians who gave their lives at Gallipoli were fighting for their country – shoulder to shoulder with their countrymen from New South Wales, Victoria and the rest of Australia.

But you and I know Andrews, Palaszczuk and McGowan aren’t fighting for Australia.

These three aren’t about you and your family.

They’re not about your job or your business.

They’re about scaremongering.

They’re about winning elections, not pandemic protections.

It’s time they dropped the political games and joined Team Australia.
