Welcome to the anti-lobby lobby! Like you, we were outraged and inspired by the powerful stories in the Big Deal documentary.
To help regular Australians step up and be engaged in the political process, Big Deal teamed up with us: the #OurDemocracy campaign. We’re a nation-wide campaign of people and organisations who want a healthy Australian democracy which works for everyone, not just for the powerful few.

To welcome you to our new movement, we’re hosting an interactive, online discussion on Thursday November 11, Our Democracy is a Big Deal.

Connect with others who care from across the continent
Hear about #OurDemocracy and how you can get involved
We’ll also be launching a new national survey tactic, designed to show our elected representatives that political integrity is not just right, but popular!

We know we need to change the ground rules so that our system is more fair for everyone, leading to better politics, better decisions, and better outcomes for all of us.

But we’re up against powerful, well-funded interest groups who prefer the status quo. To make change, we need to learn from the stories of hope and action shared in Big Deal. We need to build a powerful movement of connected, empowered communities who believe things can, and should, be different.

As Christiaan says in Big Deal, democracy is not a spectator sport. If you’re not happy with how things are, get involved and change them.
